The Open Doors project offers support, information and inspiration for museum, library and archive (mla) staff and Skills for Life practitioners. This website will describe the ways in which mlas can work with Skills for Life learners, and the benefits that this type of partnership working can bring.

Museums, libraries and archives connect people to knowledge and information, creativity and inspiration. Mlas have an important role to play in engaging and retaining adult learners, including Skills for Life learners. Mlas offer rich and unique resources, skilled staff, special learning environments and the opportunity to switch adults on to learning through their own interests and passions.
